This is a Pichwai about Krishna's love for his cows. In center is Shrinathji which is known as child incarnation of Krishna. Standing in a position as if lifting Govardhan mountain, he is adorned with a golden mukut and garlands of lotus and pearls. Painted on a blue cloth, the Shrinathji swaroop is surrounded by cows to celebrate the festival of Gopashtami. The white cows are covered with a green and orange embroidered cloth with jewellry around their neck similar to the stories in legends. This Pichwai also has a frame of 20 shringars of Shrinathji which are performed for different moods and festivals during a year. On the bottom, there is a scene of Kamal talai which is a common element in Pichwai paintings. It depicts a lotus pond with blooming flowers. The artist has used a combination of bright colors like green, yellow, orange, pink. This Pichwai is made with natural stone pigments and some of the elements are painted with gold paint.
