About The Rasoda The Rasoda aims to provide traditional, original and authentic pure vegetarian, North Indian food and mithai in Goa. The speciality of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh cuisines is lovingly imbibed into the recipes, and we cater to customers across Goa through mithai shops, restaurants and catering services. The Rasoda's Legacy 1998 We, the Khaitan family, conceptualized The Rasoda in September 2018. We originated from Rajasthan and lived in Uttar Pradesh for most of our lives, and then moved to Goa in 1998. Living here, we always felt the need for an authentic North Indian Sweet Shop in Goa. 2017 In 2017, two of our family members, Yash and Neha Khaitan decided to fuel their passion for food by managing the Sunshine Worldwide School Kitchen and Canteen. This in turn kickstarted the idea to launch The Rasoda. The idea was to bring delicious, traditional cuisine and premium-quality sweets from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi to Goa. Our Story We, the Khaitan family had a deep desire for authentic North Indian vegetarian food in Goa. Our goal was to provide fresh 'Ghar Ka Khana' in a restaurant setting. We originally hail from Rajasthan and we wanted to serve specialities that we grew up with at home since the days of yore, with our Dadi/Nani. Treats like Bedmi Aloo, green chillies achaar, bread idli, Rajma, papad ki sabzi, dal ke aloo, fruit cream mom's style- which can all be found at The Rasoda, a comfortable, family-restaurant in Goa with a homely ambience. What Makes Us Different? We provide an authentic and qualitative 'Ghar Ka Khana' taste in a restaurant setting We use 100% pure ghee to enhance health benefits No artificial sweeteners are used in our mithai, making them less sweet We prepare our own Paneer/ Mawa / Khoya in-house We prepare our own flour so that there is no adulteration We promote healthier grains like Jowar/ Nachni/ Bajra/ Makka We use only traditional methods of cooking
