normally tyres of trucks/trailers when moving on wet roads, throw up water, that results in poor visibility, thereby reducing vision. This pulverization of water creates an artificial fog and deposition of dirt on the surfaces critical to visibility windshields and windows, rear view mirrors, road signs and vehicle bodies. This actually creates a very risky, dangerous situation for overtaking and following vehicles. Spray suppression system (3s) rain flaps are a perfect solution to this grave problem. Hence, as per the govt. Regulation introduced in april 2005, all commercial vehicles above 7.5 tonnes gvw & all trailers above 3.5 tonnes gvw, are required to have spray suppression flaps behind / on side of all the wheels and not plain metal or rubber flaps. 3s rainflap suppresses the water-spray, restrains the dispersion of water containing atleast 70% within. It absorbs the kinetic energy and guides the water downwards thereby avoiding the spray whirls & creating a situation of clear vision both for the vehicle in front as well as following vehicle.

3s rain flaps consist of unique surface formed by multiple tufts / grass blades with a strong and sturdy backing. Also, 3s rain flaps are made of polyethylene, which is recyclable thus environment friendly. 3s complies with arai- regulation: ais 013 as well as european directive 91/226/eec.
