Udaipur Surgicals was founded as an SSI unit in the year 1989 in Udaipur (Rajasthan) India. The company started off as a partnership firm and later in the year 1996 the constitution of the company was changed to Private Limited and it marked the beginning of Udaipur Surgicals Private Limited as we know it today. Our first product was the Adhesive Tape USP, which we started manufacturing way back in 1989. This adhesive tape is primarily used for medical applications. It was followed by First Aid Dressing/Medicated Dressing & Belladonna Plaster Perforated in 1994, these products are manufactured using Ayurvedic Formulations which have remarkable healing properties and contain natural ingredients Next to follow was the Elastic Adhesive Bandage BP in the year 1998. Made out of stretchable woven fabric with fast edges, the bandage is very effective where flexibility is required. In the year 2005 we upgraded our coating technology and started with a new parallel line of hot melt adhesive coated tapes. It is a globally accepted technology for coating and we are amongst the first few companies to implement it for manufacturing medical adhesive tapes in India. The Hot melt technology has helped us to manufacture products which are latex free, hypoallergenic and are of international standards, accepted across all the countries. Backed by the new and improved technology we started manufacturing Non Woven Adhesive Tape B.P. & Perforated Plastic Surgical Adhesive Tape B.P. in the year 2006 and are still among the select few companies to manufacture these products in India.
