The NGO-DARPAN started out as an initiative of the Prime Minister's Office, to create and promote a healthy partnership between VOs/NGOs and the Government of India. NGO-DARPAN is managed at present by NITI Aayog. The Unique ID is mandatory to apply for grants under various schemes of Ministries/Departments/Governments Bodies.Any VO / NGO which is registered as a trust/ society/ a private limited nonprofit company, under section-8 Company of the Companies Act, 2013 can Sign Up on the NGO Darpan. Documents Requirements:The following documents are required for registering of NGO Darpan Unique ID Registration Registration Certificate of NGOPancard of NGOPAN and Aadhaar numbers of the officer - bearers. Timeline: 7 working days subject to government approvals. Fee: Starting at 4999 onward plus GST* ( 10000 , Flat 50.01% discount for limited period)
