Cefuroxime Axetil
- Broad - Spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic with increased stability to B-lactamse.
- Highly active against beta lactamase producing strains which are resistant to ampicllin and penicillin.
- Highly active against skin & soft tissue infections caused by S. aureus, S. pyogenes, E. Coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter
- In meningitis Cefuroxime has superior penetration into the CSF compared to other cephalosporins

Clavulanic Acid
- Extends the spectrum of Cefuroxime against beta lactamase producing organisms
