Calcium Nitrate

Calcium nitrate, also called Norgessalpeter (Norwegian saltpeter), is the inorganic compound. Calcium Nitrate is a water-soluble fertilizer, which is a very important source of secondary nutrient- Calcium for plants. The deficit of which will cause many physiological disorders both qualitatively and quantitatively in crops. Calcium enhances uptake of NO3 –N and therefore is interrelated with Nitrogen metabolism. Calcium is essential for cell elongation and division thus plays key role in the growth of terminal buds of shoot and apical tips of roots.   This colorless salt absorbs moisture from the air and is commonly found as a tetrahydrate. The fertilizer grade of Calcium Nitrate, Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (commonly known as CAN) is popular in the greenhouse and hydroponics trades. NPK Powder

Zinc Solubilizing Powder

Zinc is a major nutrient and its deficiency may result into lower yield and diseased crop. Initial symptoms start with interveinal chlorosis leading to a reduction in shoot growth and shorting of middle leaf, little leaf etc. Zinc solubilizing bacteria is biological fertilizer based on a selected strain of naturally occurring beneficial autotropic, acidophilic bacteria. It is a gram negative, rod shaped, nonsporing bacteria. It is used as an effective soil inoculant. It produces acids and converts the insoluble Zinc Sulphide, Zinc Oxide and Zinc Carbonate into available Zn+ through lowering the soil ph and breaking down complex.   Mode of action : The bacteria require inorganic molecules as an electron donor and inorganic carbon as a source. It obtains nutrients by oxidizing iron and sulphur with oxygen. It grows at pH values of 4.5 to 1.3 and derives its biosynthetic requirements by autotrophy. It uses carbon from atmospheric carbon dioxide. It also fixes nitrogen in acidophilic habitats.   Benefits: Improves the availability of zinc in soil and suitable for all crops. It helps to increase the crop yield and improves the soil health by enhancing the nutrient content. It secrets various acids that helps to decrease the Ph of the soil.
