The AET style Bayonet offers a versatile connection that is an industry standard for connecting flex lines and vacuum jacketed piping. Our Bayonet provides a reliable connection that can be easily broken for servicing the line. The bayonet pairs can be manufactured to length and standard diameters range from 0.5 inch internal line to 2 inch, while custom sizes are available. AET Designs and Manufactures vacuum jacketed transfer lines for the cryogenic industry. This application is utilized to transfer gasesliquids with a low boiling point while shielding them from atmospheric interference. These piping assemblies can also include Flex Segments to help with customer connection point allignment. Transfering cryogenic liquid without vacuum jacketing can cost a large amount of money due to heat leaks. Keeping waste costs down can mean more funding for other parts of your project, or in some cases, more end product to sell to your end user. Ablity Engineering Technology, Inc. utilizes and provides a cryogenic check valve that has been well-established as a go-to solution for cryogenic vapor and liquid flow direction management. The Check Valve is designed to be installed in a vertical position and harnesses gravity to return back to a closed position every time. With a fully welded construction the check valve body is guaranteed to seal and is approved for helium checking services. The AET Cryogenic Check Valve is also beneficial to decrease thermal acoustical oscillations in helium and hydrogen systems. Ability Engineering Technology has a long history of providing test chambers for vacuum and pressure use. These test chambers are available in both cryogenic and non-cryogenic design conditions. For example, liquid natural gas pipelines traditionally were run using conventional insulation methods such as fiberglass, but due to the recent increase in LNG market-space, most have started to utilize Vacuum Insulated Pipelines, which AET has a long-history in designing and fabricating.
