PCC Airfoils is the leading manufacturer of airfoil castings for aerospace and industrial gas turbine (IGT) applications. These stationary vanes and rotating blades are used in the turbine section of these aircraft and IGT engines, where temperatures can easily exceed 2, 400 degrees Fahrenheit. As customers have designed engines for higher fuel efficiency and lower emissions, the casting technology within the hot section has become increasingly sophisticated, and PCC Airfoils has more than risen to the challenge. These components are supplied to all major gas turbine OEMs and their partners for both new engine production and replacement, which is primarily driven by engine cycles. Aftermarket parts represent about half of PCC Airfoils sales.

Wyman-Gordon is a worldwide supplier to the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets. We hold quality accreditations for all of the major airframe and engine manufacturers for both civil and military applications. Wyman-Gordon creates critical, rotating closed-die forgings for aerospace and land-based gas turbines as well as structural forgings for airframe, nuclear, petrochemical, power generation and space applications.

Since 1950, TIMET has been leading the industry in mill and melted products, supplying nearly one-fifth of the world’s titanium demand. We are the only supplier with production facilities in both the United States and Europe to support our multinational customer base.

PCC Forged Products supplies forgings, cases and rings for every major aircraft engine application. Our diverse capabilities support a full range of products, sizes, and materials. We also supply forged components for industrial gas turbines. Typical closed-die products include forged compressor and turbine disks, shafts, and fan hubs for critical rotating applications. Through our Carlton Forge and Wyman-Gordon Pennsylvania operations, we also supply engine cases, liners, spools, spinners, seal rings, flanges, and shrouds. PCC Forged Products also is the leading producer of nickel-based powders and isothermal forgings, which are used in the hot sections of many engines flying today.

PCC Forged Products supplies the commercial and military aerospace markets with near-net-shape, fracture-critical, closed-die forgings, including bulkheads, flap tracks, door frames, landing gear cylinders, and engine pylons, in addition to open-diehand forgings. Wyman Gordon's 50, 000-ton hydraulic press is the largest operating in North America and is capable of producing some of the largest monolithic forgings for aerospace and energy applications. A compatible 35, 000-ton press provides redundant forging capability. Key applications include legacy commercial aircraft programs like the A320, A330, A340, 737, and 777, as well as the newest aircraft programs such as the 787 and A350. The Group also supports major military programs, including the FA-18, F-15, C-17, V-22, H-60, and F-35. We also produce structural components for regional and business jets.

Through Special Metals Corporation, PCC Forged Products offers the world’s largest range of nickel-based alloys and product forms. These alloys provide optimum heat resistance, high-temperature corrosion resistance, toughness and strength. TIMET is the world-leading supplier of titanium metal and alloys for a variety of end uses. TIMET supplies diverse product forms, including ingot, bar, plate, sheet, strip and tubing.

PCC Forged Products has the most comprehensive pipe extrusion capability in the world. We are capable of manufacturing the largest diameter pipe and the longest pipe. Other capabilities include thick-walled pipe and extreme thin wall, cold-drawn extrusion. Our complementary products include fittings, tubing, cladding and wire.
