Its Z Backscatter®, Forwardscatter®, and optional dual-energy X-ray technologies capture two images from each side and two images of the top—simultaneously—providing six views that quickly highlight metallic and organic threats and contraband, such as weapons, stowaways, explosives, drugs, and alcohol. The Sentry Portal system offers both—while ensuring safe drive-through operation with robust technology to avoid scanning the cab and driver. This compact drive-through system utilizes high-energy transmission X-rays—capable of penetrating up to 300 mm (11.8 in) of steel—to detect hidden threats and contraband in cargo containers, tankers, and large vehicles. The Sentry Portal system scans containers at a rate of up to 200 trucks per hour. For enhanced organic detection and imaging of the entire vehicle (including the cab), the Sentry Portal can be deployed along with the multi-view Z Portal system to detect drugs and explosives. Provides a high-energy and high-throughput means of scanning cargo containers without compromising image quality. Features an advanced container-locating subsystem that begins imaging after the cab has passed to avoid scanning the driver. The OmniView Gantry system is engineered to deliver unprecedented penetration into dense objects like cargo containers, tankers, and large vehicles. Its best-in-class dual-energy transmission X-ray imaging represents a reliable way to detect contraband and threatening materials such as weapons, drugs, and explosives. Able to accommodate vehicles up to 5 meters (16.4 ft) high, it gives your team the ability to inspect a wide variety of vehicle types. The bi-directional system operates on rails and is capable of scanning stationary trucks at a rate of approximately 28 trucks per hour. Set a new standard in high-energy transmission imaging with 400 mm (15.7 in) steel penetration and superior quality images. Features one of the largest tunnel sizes in the industry to accommodate vehicles up to 5 meters (16.4 ft) high. Optional integration with a multi-sided Z Backscatter imaging module improves manifest verification and the detection of organic materials.

The CarView portal screens occupied cars and small vehicles to help secure special events, parking garages, and high-threat locations. The system uses innovative detector technology to simultaneously produce two top-down images: a high-quality dual-energy transmission image and a Z Backscatter image of the scanned vehicle. The dual-energy transmission image offers material discrimination technology to detect metallic and organic threats and contraband, while the photo-like Z Backscatter image offers enhanced detection of organic threats such as explosives, drugs, and stowaways. This cost-effective, versatile system is easily relocatable and its compact footprint meets the physical requirements of standard tollbooth lanes. The CarView portal is also available as part of an integrated, automated entry control-point solution, featuring vehicle gate, exit bollards, vehicle protection kit, under-vehicle inspection system, license plate reader, scene cameras, driver identification camera, and operator-alert software.
