Mercury 49 This drink, like its namesake, is reminiscent of the early bootleggers featuring traditional tastes yet taking a new side road to deliver happiness. One part Bourbon, 1 part Ginger SweetShine, ½ part fresh lemon juice. Pour everything over ice into a cocktail shaker then “Shake it like you stole it” for 15 seconds. Pour into an old fashioned glass filled with ice and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint. Ginger Rogers This is a new classic: Great tasting, great looking and can help with your dancing! Add 1½ parts , 1 part Ginger SweetShine, ½ part fresh lemon juice with ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds or until it seems awkward to shake further. Pour into an old fashioned glass filled with ice and garnish with a small stem of fresh lavender. Optional mix: replace the lemon juice with 1 part SweetShine Hard Lemonade. Cool, refreshing ahhhhh. Jefferson Mule This is a kickin’ mule. A favorite of ours here in Jefferson County, WV. Tangy, spicy, a bit sweet, very smooth. A versatile drink perfectly at home at cocktail parties, quilting bees, bachelor parties, jousting or fishing tournaments. One part , 1 part Ginger SweetShine, 1 part fresh lime juice. Add all components with ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake it like you stole it for 15 seconds. Pour into a copper mug or Collins glass filled with ice, top with soda water and garnish with a lime wheel, however Real Men garnish with nothing. This is kickin’, not sissy! Dark and Shiny Rumor has it that Storm Chasers, that crazy bunch who chases tornadoes, look for the dark and shiny sky to lead them. This drink offers all of the excitement without the need for the extended insurance program. Two parts hard cider, 1 part spice , 1 part Ginger SweetShine served over ice in a tall tumbler or a travel mug if chasing tornadoes.

Best if served at room temperature or slightly chilled. The natural pectin will thicken this hooch when cold. Shenandoah Cider Cool Refreshing and as invigorating as a swim in the river on a hot July day. This cheeky cider will have you wanting to ride a rope swing in to the chilly bliss or at least sip from the shore and smile. Two parts Hard cider ( Lite version: use sparkling cider), 1 part spice , 1 part Peach SweetShine served over ice in a tall tumbler. Virginia Volcano Our take on a Peach Colada! Tough to geographically place this taste. Is it from the islands? Is it from Georgia? Not quite… our peach sweetened ‘shine explodes the taste buds and turns an old standby on its head. This is great served up over ice or as a frozen drink blended with ice. Pour together 1 part coconut , 1 part pineapple juice, 1 part Peach SweetShine. Some fresh fruit garnish is nice. Try orange and kiwi, but for the real Virginia Volcano garnish try it with a bit of salted jalapeño slice. Cream Shine Bellini or Bubbly Bubba Champagne or Prosecco cocktails send a simple message, “Nothing too good for my guests.” Classy, yes, but maybe a bit pretentious unless you are christening your yacht. Move over Mimosa, Dreamsickle, Creamy Dreamy, Creamcycle, Breakfast of Champions Hard to name, easy to drink. Two parts no pulp OJ, 1 part Cremma Lemma, splash of vanilla club soda. (Polar Brand or ½ tsp of vanilla extract to one liter of regular club soda) If you listen to the glass you can hear the ice cream truck coming–but please don’t chase with glass in hand. Strain, pour, enjoy! OH MY Named for what we most commonly hear in our tasting room after a spoonful. This is a simple palate cleanser or dessert treat. We like Ciao Bella brand sorbet. Just a scoop of passion fruit sorbet drizzled with SweetShine Limoncello and stirred together. For larger servings, a pint of sorbet and about two ounces of Limoncello. Mango, peach and lemon sorbets are also nice. Experiment and PLAY! Sassy Margarita Add a touch of our SweetShine Limoncello to your favorite margarita recipe and feel your taste buds sweetly smile. We love using 1 part FRESH lime juice, 1 part SweetShine Limoncello and 1½ parts 100% agave tequila. Now THAT’s a Sassy Margarita! Tangy Slushy In a standard blender about half full of ice, add one bottle of Hard Lemonade and about a third of a bottle of either Limoncello or Raspberry Lemon. Press the appropriate button, pour and sip. Remember to put the lid on the blender BEFORE pressing the button! Eric Bell’s Southern Buttermilk Pie This is a simple one-crust pie that blends the greatness of a lemon bar with the scrumptiousness of a custard pie. Yields two pies: one for you, one to share. Sardinia Soother Vigorously shake together equal parts Raspberry Lemon, Hard Lemonade and a scoop of Ciao Bella Blood Orange sorbet. Pour over ice. Garnish with a few whole raspberries

( No–not like that, you know what we meant!) Cranberry Clementine Spritz (CC Spritz) Easy to make–easier to enjoy! Walk to the poolside cocktail mixing area. Find a tall ice filled glass toss in half of an orange slice then add together 3 parts prosecco, 2 parts CC, 1 part soda. Gently insert straw, find a seat, enjoy! Please be sure to wear sunscreen. We hear reports that this refreshing drink may cause extended periods of sunshine filled relaxation. Please relax safely. CC Sangria Start with a visit to your local farmers market. Buy a bunch of fruit. Find some red . Find a pitcher. Put a bunch of fruit into the pitcher, add 3 parts red and 2 parts CC. Find some glasses. Put some ice in the glasses. Pour the sangria mix from the pitcher into the glasses. Wait 17 seconds wave your hand over the glasses and say, “Damn. I’m good!” Serve to your guests and humbly accept their compliments on your mixology skills. Newest Old Fashion Really this is the newest old fashion recipe that we have created, and may we add arguably the finest. Therefore this should only be served in fine crystal with fresh homemade ice. Stir together 2 parts Bourbon, 1 part CC, add a dash of citrus bitters and garnish with a cherry. Best enjoyed in an overstuffed well used chair, feet up on the coffee table. CC Cosmo A very metropolitan cocktail but our version can be enjoyed even in the most remote of areas. Simply shake together with ice, 2 parts or Moonshine, 1 part CC, 1 part Cranberry Juice and a splash of lime juice. Strain into either a city or rural goblet then garnish with a lemon. Aye Carumba! Margarita ( or best margarita ever!) So simple and wonderful you will wonder why you don’t make this more often. Easy peasy. Shake together or blend for a frozen drink: 2 parts tequila, 1 part CC, 1Part fresh lime juice. Add up to a half part of simple syrup to tast. Salt or sugar the rim. rela’jese and en’joi mi amigo. Bulldog Beware! This dog does not bark–it may bite however. Shake with ice–2 parts dry , 1 part CC, a splash of lemon juice and a dash of bitters. Strain and serve in a martini-like glass as no special glassware is named Bulldog glass yet. Garnish with a twist of lime.
