Bond v-grooved wheels are typically made from cast semi-steel designed with a heavy cross section for maximum strength and load carrying capacity. Most wheels are solid web design except those higher capacity wheels which are reinforced with heavily sectioned ribs. Both the v-groove and face are precision machined, concentric with the hub bore to ensure smooth rolling action on inverted angle iron track. Wheel face is broad and strong for use "off-track". A relief groove at the base of the "V" assures equal weight distribution and tends to aid the self-cleaning action of the angle iron track. Bond produces v-groove wheels from aluminum, ductile iron, forged steels, phenolic, polyurethane (70 Shore D), and stainless steel. Custom widths, grooves, hub lengths, bearings, plain bores and keyways are also available by consulting the factory.

Bond produced this cart for a construction company to aid in transport of generators. The carts were used to move through construction sites keeping the installation process steadily moving. The carts were narrow and held over 3000 lbs of materials, had aluminum diamond plate reinforcement plus a very heavy plywood base. Casters were heavy duty and low profile to keep the materials at an ideal height.
