Clamp on plates are a versatile way to add heating or cooling to the exterior of new or existing tanks or vessels. The plates are fitted to the tank exterior to provide moderate heating or cooling to a variety of products. And because they do not directly contact the substance within the vessel or tank, the product cannot be contaminated. The clamp on plates should be installed with a heat transfer mastic to increase the overall performance of the clamp on plates.

Plate bank assemblies are a collection of several rectangular plates banked together to increase the overall heat transfer coefficient. These compact units deliver heating or cooling to a variety of applications and with the versatility of our laser-welded plates, can be designed to fit a wide range of specifications. Immersion plates are a low-cost way to heat and cool tank contents. Plates can be supplied in widths up to 80" with a maximum length of 480". Connections can be supplied as threaded pipe, pipe nipples, flanges, or ferrules to fit your needs. Other special services are available including material polishing and electropolishing, custom bolt holes, slots and edge breaks; passivation; and others. We can also provide plate hangers for immersion applications.
