Casso-Solar Technologies Ceramic Ink Drying Systems lead the industry in processing water base, water miscible, terpinol and pine oil based inks, leaded or lead free. Special attention is given to maximize green strength on low resin content inks, allowing for safe handling. Combination systems of infrared and convection enhance drying capability. Cooling systems are designed to bring glass and ink temperatures to or below ambient for overprinting. Dryers are compact, energy efficient with little maintenance over years of service life. Casso-Solar Technologies works closely with the ceramic ink manufacturers and maintains an extensive library on current inks used in the industry.

Pretreatment and primer coatings can be easily dried with Casso-Solar Technologies' electric infrared ovens. Required peak metal temperatures are reached on both sides of the metal strip. High intensity, short wavelength heaters andor fast response medium wavelength heaters are zoned for the width of the strip and to provide a rampsoak drycure as may be required by the coating. Heater cassettes are easily removable for access to the oven interior. Air cooled guards protect the heaters from loss of tension or a break in the strip.

Convection curing systems utilize about 50% of the oven length to raise the part to temperature leaving little time to complete a cure. Casso-Solar Technologies infrared brings the part to temperature in 110th the time of a convection system, allowing for more time at temperature to cure or to increase production. Since infrared does not require air to transfer the energy to the product, different colored powder coated parts can be run, one after another, without cross contamination. Powder is gelled before reaching the convection portion of the system. Liquid - both water and solvent based plus powder, can be safely processed. Combination air and infrared prevents solvent popping and other defects Systems can be inserted into entry vestibules to save on floor space.
