CAF Series filters maximize filtration efficiency through their two-stage, inside-to-outside air flow design.This innovative design ensures long element life while stainless steel inner and outer cores add structural integrity. CAF Series filters provide your compressed air system with premium quality filtration against solid particles, condensed water droplets ad liquid oil and oil vapors. Solid particles come from ambient air contaminants like dust and from rusted, oxidized pipework. These particles cause pneumatic equipment to malfunction, instrument and control failures, and contaminate end products. Condensed water droplets come from the humidity in ambient air. This moisture will oxidize pipework and pneumatic equipment and also ruin paint finishes. Liquid oil and oil vapors are introduced by compressor lubricants and by hydrocarbon vapors present in ambient air. Oil-free compressed air is particularly important in food and pharmaceutical processes.

They are supplied with hermetic scroll compressors with a copper brazed plate heat exchanger. A water regulating valve is also included to control the flow of condenser water.

The GC Series is a high quality coalescing filter for contaminent removal down to 0.01 micron. Separation of aerosol and solid contaminants from air is primarily dictated by gravity. Contaminants greater than 10mm settle out in the air stream quickly. However, small aerosol particles remain suspended particularly in flowing air. Coalescing is the process of combining the smaller particles to create larger particles that are susceptible to the effects of gravity. The Great Lakes Coalescing filter is a unicast element that has no seams and utilizes all three mechanisms.

The Great Lakes Mist Eliminator utilizes pleated borosilicate glass fibers with a fluorocarbon binder to give the filter extremely high surface area and still maintain optimum efficiences. This design offers the benefits of the most efficient coalescing material available and still maintains low pressure drops while offering greatly reduced physical size as compared to competitive products.
