Connor Clips™ are designed and manufactured to stand up to the extreme conditions and harsh environments while maintaining consistent alignment and force. Connor Clips are designed to utilize the properties of Stainless Steel and Inconel to perform in extreme temperatures and chemical exposure. This combination of materials not only allows for the clips to operate in temperatures to 370ºC (700ºF) while maintaining accurate loads but also provides for longer product life, cycle after cycle. The clips unique pivot design offers even tip load pressure. A common use for these clips is uniform hermetic sealing and alignment of packages during a manufacturing process requiring exposure to a high temperature belt furnace. Bonding materials commonly used in these processes are solder paste alloy or epoxies. Process Aides Connor products include high quality, Process Carriers (Boats), Magazines, High-Temperature clips and other customized process logistics. Our vertical integration allows us to support the various needs of our customers from design through production. Internal processes include: Progressive Stamping, Single Stage Stamping, Four-Slide, Scan Welding, Laser Welding, & Marking, Heat Treatment and Force Testing.

Fence & Lid – Assembly Solution Our latest innovation involves using the same progressive die to manufacture both RF fences and lids, produced as either a complete assembly or individual components. This solution increases process flexibility and provides customers with the benefit of purchasing replacement parts when required. The innovation also provides cost savings on both tooling and part price.

Connor produces transceiver cages and accessories for customers in the interconnect industry. Parts include: One-Piece Cages, Multi-Port Cages, Light Pipe Covers, Heat Sink Clips and a variety of other related components. Manufacturing challenges included complex form operations, miniature cut features, tight tolerances, and stringent cosmetic requirements. We have experience with a number of industry standards & form factors (GBIC, SFP, SFP+, QSFP). Global Program Management One of Connor’s strengths is working with our customers throughout the entire product cycle. Connor’s unique global footprint allows us to work with design teams in one region, and support volume manufacturing in another. CNC wire and CNC coiling equipment create an economical and technical ability for many types of custom springs and rod forms. Spring types include; extension, Conical, Clock, Torsion and many other custom, specialty coil spring geometries. Our CNC rod forming equipment and technical experience is our basis for economical parts and product solutions. Custom rods are created and linkage rod assemblies made with integrated and secondary services available. Common secondary mechanical services are welding, staking, flattening, forming, punching, drilling, tapping and threading.
