Pallets Diversified Crating, located near the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, also supplies clients with custom specialty pallets and custom heavy duty bases. Our large heavy duty transportation specialty pallets contain custom bracing and can accommodate loads of all sizes and weights. Similar to our custom crates, we can build heavy duty custom pallets and bases with specific requests from hardware to paint, and isolation systems to custom bracing. We manufacture elaborate specialty transportation pallets and heavy duty skids from customer supplied drawings. Large “A Frame” specialty pallets can be manufactured to help minimize wide load issues. We also build “H Frame” style custom pallets that will curve to intricate parts. Our heavy duty custom transportation and handling pallets are fabricated with large timbers, bolts and metal braces. We have also built custom bases and pallets that have contours for large airplane skins.

Our commercial crates are built with heavy duty solid top bases or floater bases for delicate electronic equipment. We use specialty foam products with various densities in order to guarantee that your product arrives safely. We provide custom work in a production run setting for commercial and export crates. With our 25, 000 square foot facility we are capable of manufacturing large quantities of commercial and export crates with custom floater bases and specialty foam products. Our heavy duty export crates ensure that the product arrives undamaged at any location around the world. Only the highest quality materials are used; we strive for a sound structure. Diversified Crating & Packaging, Inc. observes the regulations placed on wood packaging material of export crates. We are IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention) certified and meet the ISPM 15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) standards. Our great relationship with our foam vendors helps ensure that the proper type, density and shape of foam protects your product. Whether it is a simple foam-line box or an intricate die-cut, cushioning of all varieties and shapes is available. In order to properly cushion and protect the product, different densities and thicknesses of foam are used depending on the weight of the product. Painting Crate with white fire retardant paint to meet fire department storage specs Acrylic paint colored to meet program specifications For custom storage containers and custom shipping containers, we offer Fire-Retardant paint applications. This will meet many of your local fire department requirements for long term storage. Exterior Latex paint is used for weather proofing in order to protect the product from various weather conditions. The color is the client’s choice, of course. Epoxy paint creates a hard, smooth surface to protect products from dust. It is perfect for clean room applications. The product is patched, sanded and primed to remove all crevices and seams before applying Epoxy finish, making the custom shipping container clean room acceptable. As requested by drawing or client spec, we lacquer the interior of the custom storage and shipping containers. This helps to prevent plywood and lumber from splintering and damaging their part.
