Forrest Machine uses a full range of austenitic, ferritic and martensitic grades of stainless steel. We also machine nickel-base alloys as well as precipitation hardened stainless steels.

Forrest Machine is experienced in machining aluminum alloys of all types. Not only from bar stock, but also as supplied in a cast form. Copper alloys such as OFC, Beryllium and leaded are used on a daily basis to manufacture our customer's product. Also, brass and bronze in their varied forms are regularly machined at our facility.

Forrest Machine works with all types of ferrous materials. From free machining leaded steels to the toughest heat treatable alloys. With our years of experience, we may well be able to suggest an alternative material that will yield the part required at a cost savings to our customer.

Forrest Machine turns, forms and mills plastic parts, too. Such materials as nylon 66, Delrin®, and specialty types of polymers such as Nylotron GS® and Halar® are among a few of the many plastics we use. Other non-metal materials we commonly work with are Melamine®, phenolic, and MCB-53®.
