UV detectors operate by measuring energy radiation wavelengths, and are capable of registering even the smallest flame within 4 milliseconds. When IR detection equipment is used, a special thermal camera is installed to monitor infrared light, which is not visible to the naked eye. We offer standard types of each of these detectors, as well as combination detectors. Our equipment is suitable for any hazardous location application where there is a risk of flame or explosion. Some typical instances where flame detectors are used are natural gas processing facilities, refineries, hydrogen fire detection, hydrocarbon-based fuel processing, and others.
