Innoflight’s Flight-Heritage S-Band Compact Radio (SCR-100) is designed for performance and reliability in a substantially miniaturized package. It incorporates advanced encryption, modulation, encoding and transport methods through modern highly integrated application specific chipsets (RF) and high density FPGAs. Through our deep experience in FPGA design, we provide sophisticated smarts in a single device and add built-in space environment performance and reliability improvement mechanisms. The SCR-100’s advanced communications components allow frequency, power, waveform, modulation and other features to be selectable and controlled on the fly unlike traditional space hardware. Includes agile command and data interface with COMSEC.

Space Ethernet Switch is a part of Innoflight’s IPSAS suite of IP-centric spacecraft bus components. Space Ethernet Switch is a flight spacecraft Ethernet switch for up to 18 subsystems, including two high speed (1 Gbps) and 16 lower speed (10 or 100 Mbps). Space Ethernet Switch includes automated monitoring for its own health as well as the health of peripherals on the bus. Advanced Ethernet features like VLANs allow segregation of the physical network into multiple logical networks ensuring isolation between unrelated spacecraft hardware akin to the traditional rats-nest wiring approach while allowing the ultimate flexibility of a switched network. Quality of Service ensures high priority traffic always takes precedence over lower traffic priority to ensure reliable transmission of important data. Latency through the switch is low and predictable. The SpaceWire option is also available. The SpaceWire standard ensures compatibility and high-performance between sub-system levels and other components on the spacecraft. This standard results in cheaper, easy integration, and faster build.

Innoflight is committed in developing secure (Type 1) IP transport for space plug-n-play systems or any system that is network-capable. The technology provides seamless networked communications through space vehicle links, ground stations, the operations centers and end users even within existing ground infrastructure. This development expands our IPSAS technology to space and ground appliances founded on native IP and HAIPE. The end result is that the user can operate his mission over any IP network (Internet, SIPRNet, Classified WANs, etc.) through a secure operations gateway to existing satellite communication legacy systems without the need for specialized or dedicated bandwidth sensitive transport infrastructure. A Space HAIPE COMSEC appliance is being developed for this program.

Innoflight’s Compact Flight Computer (CFC-300) is a flexible general-purpose high-performance processor for SmallSat and NanoSat spacecraft applications. The CFC-300 includes a powerful Xilinx Zynq System-on-Chip (SoC) device with an integrated ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, available FPGA fabric for customer use, 256 MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM, 32 MB of NOR flash, and up to 16 GB of NAND flash (with additional NAND flash available via Innoflight’s C2SSDR). The CFC-300 can also provide a number of high-assurance cryptographic services. The CFC-300 provides several sets of synchronous asynchronous full-duplex synchronous serial interfaces via a pair of Nano (MIL-DTL-32139) connectors. Additional IO can be provided on an optional daughter card. Several daughter card modules can be provided, with features including: SpaceWire, Ethernet, RapidIO, RS422, GPIO, heater drive outputs, and thermistor inputs.
