Kaiser Aluminum’s hard alloy aluminum extrusions facility specializes in producing aerospace and many other specific application hard alloy extruded shapes. With over 20, 000 aerospace dies, the facility meets the quality audit standards of every major airframe manufacturer.

Kaiser Aluminum offers aluminum plate, sheet and coil products specially tailored for the aerospace and high-strength market. Kaiser has recently introduced a new KaiserSelect Aerospace Plate™ product AA7099, now specified for a structural application on a current production twin-aisle aircraft. AA7099 is engineered to provide an optimum combination of high strength, corrosion performance, and high toughness. This new alloy creates airframe lightweighting opportunities for wing structures such as ribs, spars and skins, as well as fuselage applications, and is available in thicknesses from 1” to 6” (25 mm to 152 mm).
