PCI’s offers to nuclear and non-nuclear utilities and contractors custom metal fabrications. PCI has an extensive quality assurance program that is fully compliant to ISO 9001: 2008, 10 CFR 50 – Appendix B, and ASME NQA-1 (2008). PCI has a complete line of laser cutting, welding, and metal fabrication services with the ability to handle both large and small jobs. PCI has a full range of light and heavy gauge sheet metal equipment including one of the largest production laser cutters in North America. This laser cutter allows PCI to cut thicker material faster and with cleaner lines. PCI’s laser also has the ability to quickly laser etch and mark metal with product names, logos, or coding information. Along with a complete line of metal fabrication services, PCI offers high quality in-house welding services performed with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and Fusion processes. A full CAD design team is also available to work with a customer’s existing drawings or can create new drawings to the customer’s specifications.

PECO Structures are part of PCI's innovative Static Compression Building (SCB) System. SCBs are free-standing, rigid-wall structures designed with PCI's patent-pending Slip-N-Lock framework that eliminates the need for most fasteners and tools. A PECO structure is an SCB that uses its ISO shipping container as part of the finished building. No square footage is lost because the inside of the shipping container can be used as interior building space. SCBs are offered in a variety of configurations to fit the needs of the customer. They can be designed to sit off the ground or mount to a concrete slab. There are various wall heights and roof lines available. PCI developed this patent-pending Slip-N-Lock design by drawing on more than 50 years of expertise as an insulation contractor and metal fabricator. This unique design allows our building panels to compress together without using nails, screws or bolts. This means the buildings can be shipped as lightweight individual components and assembled quickly on site. They can also be disassembled just as easily and relocated for greater usability and cost savings. PCI created SCBs and PECO structures because of the great need for the military to have a product that was more durable, highly mobile, super thermally efficient, infinitely customizable, and still remain cost effective. No other system can make this statement.

Built for the nuclear industry, PCI’s line of Radiation Emergency Situation Trailers (REST) offer a functional work space while providing crucial radiation protection. Each unit is custom built to the customer’s specifications to achieve the desired attenuation levels and type of work space needed. A changing area with personal lockers, air lock doors, pre-wired electrical, and air filtration systems are just some of the items that can be included. PCI’s REST units are designed specifically for emergency situations where conditions require working for extended periods of time in otherwise unsafe areas. Having a REST unit on site provides a protected structure for a command center, staging area, or simply a protected structure where workers can remove their protective clothing.

Static Compression Buildings (SCBs) are a building system composed of steel skinned structural insulated panels that compress together to form the walls, roof, and at times, even the floor of a building. Several designs of our SCBs don’t require nails, screws, cam locks, field cutting, or special lifting equipment during their assembly which makes them extremely fast to build. They can also be disassembled and put back together with little wear and tear. The panels, called Precision Panels, that make up the buildings are also lightweight and have great insulation values. One of the best features of Static Compression Buildings is their versatility. Doors and windows can be put in just about any location and can even be relocated at a later time. Uses for these buildings include emergency shelters, storage, temporary office space, or even temporary refrigeration units.
