Simvastatin  is used along with a proper diet to help lower "bad"  cholesterol  and fats (such as  LDL,   triglycerides) and raise "good"  cholesterol  (HDL) in the  blood. It belongs to a group of drugs known as "statins." It works by reducing the amount of  cholesterolmade by the  liver. Lowering "bad" cholesterol and  triglycerides  and raising "good" cholesterol decreases the risk of  heart disease  and helps prevent strokes and  heart attacks.

Stilnox is used to initiate and maintain sleep in those with sleeping difficulties, also called insomnia. It is not recommended for use for more than 4 weeks at a time.
Stilnox has a different chemical structure to other sleeping tablets. STILNOX works by binding to special sites in the brain which produce sleep.
Your doctor, however, may prescribe STILNOX for another purpose.
