Power supply test equipment is a key product at Powermag. The mutli-channel, dynamic load is a cost effective tool for both evaluation and analysis. • The unit can operate as a stand-alone measurement tool or a completely computer-driven ATE device • All four channels function independently as does the AC or DC internal source • Inputs and outputs can be programmed and controlled using the software interface. • The software generates a complete analysis report with passfail indications for each parameter tested and will export data for additional evaluation.

Powermag has developed a range of smaller scale RF Induction Heaters. Utilizing proprietary technology, these devices provide fast rise time and operate at 95% efficiency. Optional close loop temperature feedback enables precision temperature control and regulation +- .02%. These systems are rugged, reliable and serviceable for long life. A cost savings of up to 80% have been realized in some applications over the obsolete equipment it replaced. Powermag's RF Induction Heating Power Supply is very compact in size with an affordable price.

Powermag has developed a line of aircraft engine instruments for fixed and rotor wing aircraft. These microprocessor controlled instruments provide up to three pointers as well as digital read-outs. Exceedance and memory are provided for maintenance and control. Instruments in this series are: • Tachometers • N1 • N2 • EGT • Fuel Flow The fuel flow instruments communicate with each other when used in multi-engine aircraft and accumulate data to provide consolidated information. Total fuel used, rate of flow and fuel remaining can be displayed upon command. LCDLED displays are also available. Aircraft Instruments This line of aircraft instruments includes the NX Engine Tachometer, the FFX Fuel Flow meter with totalizing computer, the TTX Turbine Temperature, and OPX Oil Pressure Meter. All meters meet requirements of RTCADO-160C when mounted in the housing. The highly visible dot-matrix green LED display provides easy daylight readability within the cockpit for commercial applications and allow ANVIS night-vision compatibility for military applications. An control panel adjustment input varies illumination of meter faceplate backlighting as well as LED intensity. Aircraft Instruments Enlarge AC Voltmeter This AC Voltmeter aircraft instrument is designed to accept a 0-300V input from a generator sensor. The frequency response is DC to 1000 Hz with .01% accuracy. When mounted in the housing, it meets requirements set forth in RTCADO-160C. The highly visible LED display provides easy daylight readability within the cockpit for commercial applications. Display filters used in the nitrogen pressurized housing faceplate allow ANVIS night-vision compatibility for military applications.

Aircraft Entertainment Power Supply This commercial airborne specific application power supply is used on in-flight entertainment systems. High temperature components and shock resistant RTV are used throughout to achieve superior performance in this harsh environment.

• SeriesXVS-150V

The Powermag XVS-150V, 150W power supply was designed, built and tested to Mil-Std-461 EMI and used on a Los Angeles class submarine. The XVS-150V takes 100-130V, 50-400Hz AC and has outputs of 5V at 20A and 15V at 3.5A. This unit was built under a government funded Small Business Innovative Research grant to investigate extremely high resolution touch screen monitors aboard the vessel.

• SeriesXPRS-3000

The Powermag XPRS-3000 Power Supply for pulsed radar provided superb performance in the Alaskan peninsula harsh environment. This power supply provides three outputs of 48V at 50A for use in the RF amplifiers. 16 of the XPRS-3000 power supplies were installed to power the phased array radar. This radar installation was used to study high altitude tropospheric conditions. The XPRS-3000 are fully protected, have power factor correction, wide range voltage input (100-240VAC) and temperature range up to 50C.

This Powermag network server power supply provides 2.2V to 3.3V at 60W, depending on the CPU configuration. The SUN compliant interface uses an input resistance to allow a 1% tolerance on voltage programming. Input voltage is 90-250VAC, 50-60Hz. Designed and built to meet CE requirements for EMI and Safety.

This AC input, 70W, 5 output power supply has +-5V, +-12V and 15V. All outputs are regulated to within 1%, typically .5%. This assembly was designed for use in security systems and typical of Powermag’s low cost, custom, capability.

AC Source and Linear Motor Driver This linear motor driver develops a 20 Hz (+-.01%) digitally synthesized sinewave from 0 to 90V with less than 1% distortion at 1000 Watts. It takes either 110VAC or 220VAC, 50-60 Hz. The Class D switching amplifier is extremely efficient and uses the +-150V rails generated from the switching power supply. It is approximately 5.5 x 5.5 x 9 inches and weighs less than 12 lbs. Environmental temperature range –20C to 50C and is fully protected against over temperature, over current, and short circuit output.

Laser Power Supply This DIN RAIL mounted power supply is for an laser interferometer industrial inspection system. This +-15V power supply has less than 5 mV of noise and ripple due to extremely high frequency switching and multistage output filters. It takes 100-240VAC input 50-60 Hz.
