he Ballistic Nylon Sidewinder Sleeve is the best material for most general purpose applications, bundling hydraulic hosescables, traditional abrasion protection. The 1050B is widely used in agriculture, construction, oil, gas, forestry and mining applications. This material also is used on CE approved equipment for operator protection in the event of hose failure.
Diamondback Sleeve was engineered specifically to meet the EU Machinery Directive 200642EC as well as the NSW "Guideline for Fluid Power System Safety at Mines". Diamondback uses a proprietary engineered fiber. It is needle woven very tightly and heat treated which shrinks the sleeve about 8% to the finished dimension.
The Teflon Glass Sleeve is used for high temperature applications requiring a wear resistant cover, resistance to acid chemical, resistance to adhesion from tar, asphalt, paint and other coatings that traditionally build up on a surface. It also is widely used as protection for cables and wiring on sensors and harnesses on engine applications. INSULTF is a braided fiberglass sleeving that has been heat treated and impregnated with an acrylic binder to reduce fraying and dusting, and improve useability and performance. INSULTF was engineered for applications where temperatures as high as 1200°F (649°C) may be encountered.
