Made from HALAR® ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene resin, these products are virtually unaffected by most common corrosive chemicals. ECTFE products have excellent chemical and mechanical properties, impact strength, and a broad service use temperature. This polymer offers extremely low permeability to liquids, gases, and vapors.

Westlake Plastics manufactures Lennite products in accordance with ASTM F-648 and ISO 5834. "Articular surfaces for all total joint replacement prostheses including hip, knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow, wrist, spinal disk."

Carbon-powder-filled conductive material with high strength and stiffness, and relatively high impact strength. This material is easily machined and fabricated into close tolerance finished parts.

Stock shapes extruded from Ardel® resin are specifically formulated to endure the damaging effects of UV light. When exposed to UV light, this unique material undergoes a molecular rearrangement resulting in the formation of a protective layer that essentially serves as a UV stabilizer. This inherent UV stability combined with superior retention of optical and mechanical properties make polyarylate an ideal choice for any application where weathering effects could pose a problem.

Absylux ABS is a low cost engineering plastic that is easy to machine and fabricate. Absylux is an ideal material for structural applications when impact resistance, strength, and stiffness are required. It is widely used for machining pre-production prototypes since it has excellent dimensional stability and is easy to paint and glue. Natural (beige) and black Absylux are FDA compliant for use in food processing applications.
