The  ODOR handy  plus  is based on 30 years of experience with hand-held measuring instruments for odorant control in natural gas. It is equipped with an electro-chemical sensor alternatively for the measurement of the concentration of THT or of mercaptan in natural gas and combines proven sensor technology with state of the art device control. Safe, fast and simple measurement of THT or mercaptans! Sturdy metal housing, selective sensors, clear menu guidance with function keys, data memory, battery charging station, ATEX approval - the new ODOR handy plus captivates with state of the art technology and simple handling. The measuring gas is fed directly via a flexible hose to the ODOR handy plus. Depending on the odorant, the concentration of the odorant is displayed after just 1 to 2 minutes. The result can be read off directly in mg/m³. Other units of measurement can be set in the software. The measured data are stored with details of the measuring point, date and time as well as a note for odour perception and can be retrieved at any time. Apart from the measuring function, the  ODOR handy  plus  can perform continuous monitoring of the indoor air, e.g. while working on odorising systems. Information such as memory capacity, serial number, date or time can be retrieved via the device software.   O-Scent is manufactured by WVT Industries, Belgium, specifically for the neutralization of mercaptans. The product has been formulated to control the odorant vapor during the filling process. It also helps to reduce the odor during maintenance of the odorizing system for cleaning Mercaptan wetted parts or empty barrels. O-Scent encapsulates the odor of the ethyl mercaptans and changes it into a more pleasant smell. Unlike the use of the alternative process using hypochlorite, there is no exothermic reaction while using O-Scent. O-Scent is completely biodegradable. After rinsing with O-Scent solution, the resultant water can be discharged into the normal sewer system without any further treatment. Absorbent 10 is another product from WVT composed of mineral-based materials, charred without addition of chemicals. It has a very high absorption rate and is used globally for absorption of acids, solvents, alkalis and lacquers.

Pneumatic Metering Pumps are operated by compressed air, nitrogen or natural gas. As there is no electrical component involved in these pumps, they are very safe to operate in hazardous areas. It is compact in size and easy to maintain. The pneumatically operated positive displacement metering pumps can provide accuracies upto +/-2% satisfying API-675 standards. Flow Turn Down Ratio : Since metering pumps offer both stroke rate and stroke length adjustment, flow turn down ratios as great as 100:1 can be achieved. Pressure : These pumps can produce 10, 000psi with only 100psi of air/gas supply pressure owing to the large differences in area between the air/gas piston and the plunger. Corrosion resistance: Plungers made of SS316 or ceramic with PTFE seals provide maximum corrosion resistance. Special materials such as Hastolly are also offered.

FMI Valveless Metering Pumps have a unique design in which the piston rotates as well as reciprocates thus eliminating the NRV’s in both suction and discharge. The piston and cylinder are made of high quality 99.99% pure alumina ceramic which gives them a life of almost 5 years. These pumps are very accurate and consistent with flow rates ranging from 0.12ml/min to 2200ml/min. These pumps can also handle viscous fluids and mercury. Varicon offers Precision Dispensers with FMI Valveless Metering Pumps driven by DC motors or stepper motors controlled by PLC to dispense preset volumes accurately. Preset volumes can be changed by feather touch keys in the HMI of the PLC. Volumes as low as 0.025ml/dispense with an accuracy of +/-1% can be achieved.
