Sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants from wastewater, primarily from household sewage. It includes physical, chemical, and biological processes to remove these contaminants and produce environmentally safer treated wastewater

Sewage from flushing the toilet, bathing, washing sinks and general cleaning goes down the drain and into a pipe, which joins a larger sewer pipe under the road. The larger pipe that leads to the treatment center.

Treatment Levels

  • Primary treatment
  • Secondary treatment (aerobic, settling tank)
  • Tertiary treatment

PRIMARY TREATMENT SCREENING

Screening is the first stage of the wastewater treatment process. Screening removes large objects like, diapers, nappies, sanitary items, face wipes and even broken bottles, bottle tops, plastics and rags from the sewage.

SECONDARY TREATMENT

FBBR / MBBR Process

Screened sewage collected into collection tank and then pumped aeration tanks.

Attached Growth Technology is based also on the introduction of air to the sewage but with the application of a material (Bio media) for the microorganisms to attach themselves to in order for them to growth and digest sewage. The air required for the aeration tank will be supplied through air blower connected to grid piping. The Bio media in contact with the sewage wastewater allows for the microorganisms to attach to the media and digest the sewage as it passes by. The organic matter attached to the media reduces the amount of solids in suspension. The media also acts as biological filter that filters organic matter. The benefits of attached growth are typically a smaller footprint and higher level of treatment. Sludge (biosolids) build up for removal and disposal will vary dependent on the specific attached growth technology selected. The bioreactors used for this technology is called Fluidized bed bio reactor (FBBR)/ Moving Bed Bioreactors (MBBR) then sewage water sent to settling tank for removal of sludge settled at bottom. The over flow sewage water sent to clarifier water tank for disinfection by adding Hypo. The secondary treated sewage is passed through a tertiary treatment plant comprising of pressure sand filter and activated carbon filter for removal total suspend solids & color and it will used for gardening, land irrigation.

Benefits of our System

  • Higher effective sludge retention time (SRT) which is favorable for nitrification
  • Responds to load fluctuations without operator intervention
  • Lower sludge production
  • Less area required
  • Resilient to toxic shock
  • Process performance independent of secondary clarifier (due to the fact that there is no sludge return line)
  • Applications (Gardening and land irrigation)
  •

    • Residential apartments
    • Municipalities
    • Schools and other educational campuses
    • Industry
    • Resorts
    • IT parks
    • Government compounds
    • Hospitals, Health centres
