Harmonic Scalpel is a surgical device or instrument used to simultaneously cauterize and cut tissues.  Harmonic Scalpel uses the principles of ultrasonic vibrations to cauterize tissues instead of the tradition electric current. Ultrasonics give higher precision while cauterizing the tissue.   The PTFE pad displayed  is a component in such Harmonic Scalpels. We at Western Rubbers India Pvt.
