Vacuum forming is a process of converting Plastic film into articles of different shapes with the process of vacuum. In this process any plastic film ie.( PVC, PET, P.P, HIPS, HIPGP ect) is heated to the desired temperature and the material is converted into a semi molten form it is then exposed to the die where the material takes the shape of the mould with help of vacuum & chilling process. Theseformed articles are then cut into the the desired shape and the excess is scrapred off.

Pressure Forming Process
Pressure forming involves forcing a hot plastic sheet against a mold by introducing compressed air to the sheet's outer side. Pressure forming is a process where forming grade plastic is molten into required shape using a combination of pressure & vacuum. Usually, the die used in pressure forming is generally female, this makes it concave. Compressed air is the main force used to push material to the back of the heated sheet so as to enable forming of the plastic into the mold.

Pressure Forming over Injection Moulding
Pressure Forming is a lucrative alternative to injection molding in case of small quantities of products that need to be created. There is a huge difference in the mould cost as there is less work on tooling making it cost effective. All of this is done without compromising on quality one bit, pressure forming is capable of creating the same detail and quality as injection molding.
The cost per piece of a pressure formed article is way lower than that of an injection moulded article. The ability to produce larger quantizes in a given time is higher in pressure forming in comparison to Thermo forming. The use of high amount of air pressure used with pressure forming also makes it possible to achieve undercuts when necessary. It also has a short lead time, still allowing the creation of textured surfaces, products in a wide range of colors.
The end result of pressure forming is an object with the same level of quality as one that has been created through injection molding or structural foam molding, keeping the benefits intact.
Pressure Forming over Vacuum Forming
The basic advantage of pressure forming over other types of forming is its ability to produce sharper edges on forming without thinning the tray. This ensures even distribution of material which keeps the tray in perfect desired shape. Keeping the amount of detail intact replicating the mould design. Therefore, pressure forming is more effective than vacuum forming for projects requiring more attention to detail. This is possible because pressure forming has a capability of creating up to Six times as much pressure as any conventional vacuum forming Pressure forming thus eliminates problems of cold flow, excessive thinning or various other problems associated with vacuum forming.

The blister is sealed to the blister card by heat and pressure. The card has a heat activated coating. Sealing requires a blister sealing unit.
We also provide blisters for cold seal format which is a recent trend in blister packs these days. Cold sealing is used as a tamper proof packing for specialty industries and specific products which are heat sensitive.
Cold seal blister packaging is a pressure sensitive packing using a blister card and a transparent blister. This blister is trapped in between two pieces of board which gets bonded under pressure without the use of heat. Only pressure is required to make a perfect board to board bond. We can also use materials such as Mearl, Holographic & other laminated boards for sealing solutions. Cold seal is used for packing by different industries which include : agriculture products , food & pharma packing, electronic spare parts, stationary, automotive parts, domestic appliances, batteries, promotional packs, greeting cards, to name a few. This kind of packing is being largely used in the Gold, Diamond & gems trade in a big way where the product has to be seen but also needs to be tamper proof with an certificate with specific numbers.
This is an interesting new development. The blister is placed between two pieces of cardboard sealed together. Both two single blisters and a folding blister can be used.
This form of blister pack can be reclosed after opening. The edges of the blister are folded on two, three of four sides. The blister card is inserted under the folded blister edges.
Warp-around blister are perfect for packaging fragile products. The blister has hinged parts which are wrapped around the contents. In this way the blister fully encloses the product for the best possible protection. Warp around blisters can be closed without special equipment.
The two blister halves are joined by high- frequency welding. The resulting joint can only be broken with a knife or scissors. Hence, HF welded blister are perfect for heavy products. An HF generator is required for closing these blisters.
