chisel diamond tools are made with an included angle & a specific radius. The included angle begins with 15 degree and up to 105 degree. The main included angles are 40 & 60 deg. The diamond chisel is normally not made sharp or a flat on its face, it should have radial surface e.g. 0.125, 0.25, 0.5 mm.
chisel diamond tools are usually selected for dressing small concave radii. Chisel dressing tools are not recommended for superabrasive wheel dressing. There the superabrasive & their bond don’t lend themselves for this chisel tool truing, dressing & forming procedure.
