Nickel silicon dioxide is coating with self – lubricating properties. It provides a lubricious, hard, uniform coating that is accurately deposited. The coating gives the treated parts good surface hardness and excellent resistance to atmospheric, chemical and organic agents. The coating is self-lubricating properties make it an ideal surface treatment for components and assemblies that cannot use conventional lubricants. Nickel silicon oxide coating is excellent mould release and non-stick coating and offers high hardness and superior adhesive wear resistance. Nickel silicon oxide is hard coating extremely popular for mould industry due to its exceptional release property. This coating gives both hardness and lubricity. Complex assemblies of moving internal parts will benefit from Nickel silicon oxide coating. Advantage of Nickel silicon oxide coating:- These coating is nonstick and reduces the adhesion to products and liquid without contamination. Electroless Nickel Plating Electroless plating is a process which uses an auto-catalytic chemical reaction to deposit a coating onto a wide range of substrates. Electroless nickel becomes a uniform, hard and highly corrosion and wear resistance surface. Because there is no current involved in the deposition reaction. The deposit is uniform and eliminating the need for finish grinding in most cases. The phosphorus content gives a natural lubricity, which helps to minimize heat buildup and reduces scoring and galling and which can be very useful for applications such as plastic molding.
