EN-Carbide Coating
It is a unique coating of metal matrix coating comprising a mix of nickel with suspended carbide
particles. These coating give precise thickness even in hole & complex geometries.
Usually thickness range between 10 to 100 µm. excellent abrasion resistance and high hardness
after thermal annealing. Dense coating without porosities.
Applicability to many common metals and alloy. Coverage of entire services or selected critical
areas. These features allow increased lifetime and minimize maintenance- related downtime from
replacement of high wear parts.
Advantage EN-Carbide Coating:-
Reduces extra costs, compared to ceramic like coating.
No additional process such as grinding, polishing & lapping necessary.
Application of EN-Carbide coating:-
Bore of internal combustion engines, cylinder bore, piston, cylinder lining, textile machinery
