Gap Stitch Butted Seam Machine creates a flat butted-seam stitch with an 18 inch space (the gap) between the ends of the material. The G version of the 70-d3b-2 is the bestselling butt seaming machine for thick woven fabrics. The merrow 70-d3b-2 g Gap Stitch Butted Seam Machine produces a single-thread butted gap seam, specifically designed for the end to end seaming of woven and non-woven material. Our Gap Stitch Butted Seam Machine sews a 58 stitch with a physical gap (approximately 132-116 wide) between the ends of joined fabric. This stitch is effective for applications that require drainage or seam detection between pieces of fabric.
The Gap Stitch Butted Seam Machine can also be used in the processing of thick fabric, where it allows a seam to lay flat under the tension of processing. Merrow modifies the needle plate and feed dogs on the 70-d3b-2 to create the g style machine. The 70-d3b-2 g is used to create a space between the ends of materials that are sewn. This has many effects like it will guarantee that the seam will be flat on thicker or more rigid materials. It allows space for extra fluid (dye, bleaches) to drain. It offers an optical sensor as a measurement interval. Our Gap Stitch Butted Seam Machine is applied in continuous bleaching, mercerising, scouring, washing, drying, pad & steam dyeing, printing, steaming, shrinking (sanforizing), finishing, tubular processing, slitting & de-twisting, heat setting, napping & shearing, singeing and calendering.
