GripTight High Pressure Test Plug - Test Open End Pipes, Pipelines, Tubes and Pressure Vessels Quickly and Safely
Unlike other plugs that can loosen and eject under high pressure - even becoming dangerous projectiles the GripTight actually uses test pressure to seal more securely against the pipe's inner diameter.
The greater the pressure - the greater the grip! The result is safer installation, better sealing and all around safer testing.

GripTight Reverse Pressure (GTRP) test plugs eliminate concerns over inadequate joint strength when pressure testing welded flange connections
The plug and test flange act independently of each other so that the weld joint is subjected to real world stresses during pressure testing
Flange to pipe welds are tested without needing to pressurize the entire system
Available for pipe sizes ranging from 2" to 12"
