O ring compounds are designed depending upon the application i.e. Temperature, Pressure and Medium. Hardness of the O-ring can be varied depending on whether the application is Static or Dynamic.
Made from: NBR, Silicon, AFLAS FKM, FVMR, HNBR, and also grades of FKM like A type, Terpolymer of FKM, AED resistant of FKM, and low temperature grades.
Rubber Backup rings prevent migration of O rings into the sealing gap when subjected to high pressures.
