The highly flame retardant, low toxicity, low smoke density and halogenfree properties of the outer sheath of this product make it ideal for usein those areas where fire is of particular concern, e.g. underground, tunnels, hospitals, high rise office blocks and public buildings. Electricalengineers can now specify a flexible conduit which is compatible withlow smoke cable.

CONSTRUCTION:

Galvanized steel strips has been formed and helically wound into a flexible conduit. It is then coatedwith a uniform thickness of low smoke and fume PVC.

IP RATING:

IP 65 or IP 50 with standard fittings.

WORKING TEMPERATURES:

Min. -200C and Max. + 80 C

COLOUR:

Standard Black. Other colour on request.

DFC GALVANISED STEEL FLEXIBLECONDUIT

Steel flexible conduits are used where high mechanical strength or high flexibility is required orwhere high temperatures are experienced. The conduits are completely metallic and therefore canbe used when a low fire hazard specification is required. Flexisystem is typically used for underfloor wiring applications.

Galvanized steel strip, which has been formed and helically wound into flexible conduit.
