Snap-Ring filter bags are designed for use with bag filter housings. Snap-Ring filter bags are the "economy" choice for basic liquid filtering applications to a nominal 65% to 70% level of efficiency. As the filter bag modeldesign improves, the material it is made from become thicker and the sealing method becomes more efficient. Snap-Ring filter bags utilize a sewn construction and are made from virgin materials. Snap-Ring filter bags seal the bag to the internal restrainer (support) basket via a metal or plastic "snap-ring". Generally speaking Snap-Ring filter bags should be used when the particle retention level is >25 microns and for applications that do not have much particle loading.
