The Contact Angle meter also goes by the name GoniometerDropMaster (DMs) series Contact Angle meters has a range of systems starting from DMs-200 which is the basic of the models to the most sophisticated DM-701.The model DMs-200 model is a basic model used to determine the Contact Angle under the Sessile drop method in the Static mode.From model DM-CE1 one can determine the Contact Angle under the Sessile drop method in the Static mode and also dynamic mode. And Surface Tension of liquid sample can also be determined. The robust FAMACS software ensures that the system can also give Dynamic contact Angle results.DM-701 can perform Sessile Drop Method, ExtensionContraction method, Surface Interfacial tension of liquids with Pendant drop method, Sliding Method & Dynamic Sliding Method. This is the most automatic model and even stage movement and Droplet deposition are controlled through the PC.The optional accessories are numerous to choose from including Computer controlled Dispenser, sliding method, Temp control of Stage, Temp. control of dispenser, High Speed Camera etc.With the Surface Free Energy software, one can analyse the Solid surface free energies and their components from the results of Contact Angle with different liquids.

This system works out of Hot Wire Method (Transient Hot Wire Method). While the 710 model can also analyse Thin Film the model 700 cannot. Both models would have a 5.7 inch colour LCD display and would have a two-channel RS-232C interface and a USB 2 channel output also.There are many probes to choose from like Box type proble PD-11N, Insulated Moisture-proof probe PD-13N, High Temperature probe PD-31N etc. The probe PD-31N can work from -100 to 1000 Deg C. The Thin film in 710 would be analysed in either a Box type probe or an Insulated Moisture-Proof probe.
