The AGNEE Adaptable Worm Speed Reducers (gearbox) have Cast Iron Gear Case of streamlined design completely air tight, dust proof and capable of being installed in open without any cover. The Worm Shaft is made of Alloy Steel, duly hardened, tempered and ground. The Worm Wheel is made of Chill Cast Phosphorous Bronze and teeth accurately Generated on Gear Hobbing Machines. They are supported on Extra Heavy Duty Taper Roller anti friction Bearings of ample margin of safety to allow adequate journals as well as thrust loads. Lubrication is effected by splash of oil from the sump. Thus, no special care is required

Apart from standard range, Helical Gearboxes are also tailor made to suit individual requirement or as per specifications provided. Helical Gearboxes are available in: Tailor-made as per Specification, Drawings or Sample, For Automobile and Industrial uses.

The AGNEE Helical Gearboxes Housing is usually made of Close Grain Cast Iron or Structural Steel. They are rugged, corrosion resistant and absorb shock and vibration.

The Reducer Gearing is Helical type made from high quality alloy steel, hobbed, gas carburized, tempered and surface finish to class 10 AGMA quality. That leads to a very good efficiency and a quiet working condition.

The shafts are from alloy steel forging or bars heat treated. Low speed shafts can be solid or hollow type. Bearings are fitted on a ground journal and are spherical roller or/ and taper roller type.

Principle:Planetary Reduction Gearbox consist of an Internal toothed Ring Gear to which are set 3 Planets mounted onthe Planet Carrier engaging also with the Sun Gear (Pinion) and reduced output speed is taken through Planet Carrier and Ring Gear is remain stationary. Output shaft maintaining the same direction of rotation as Input.
