As per the regulations in the Andamans, divers over 50 must get a medical clearance for scuba diving.a diver
Find shoals of snappers, fusiliers, trevallies, barracudas, apart from clown fish, lionfish, octopuses, turtles, and many more when you scuba dive in Havelock. Irrespective of whether you can swim or not, as long as you are at least 12 years old, you can try your hand at scuba diving during your visit at Andaman and get addicted for life.
Duration: 1-2 hours (including transfers)
For those interested in becoming a certified diver, the PADI Open Water Diver course is the best choice. It takes 3-4 days to complete, and includes 5 confined water sessions and 4 open water dives to a maximum of 18 metres / 60 feet depth. One must be able to swim and float comfortably in the sea to sign up for this course. No prior experience of scuba is required to participate in these programs.
