Central Vacuum Systems

In Centralised Vacuum Systems the dust, cotton fluffs, flies, chips, fumes and smoke that occur during production process are vacuumed. They are then transported through pipe systems to the collection hopper where they are separated, filtered and the filtered air is thrown in to the atmosphere.
The system comprises of :
A. The Vacuum Producer with Electric Controls.
The Vacuum producerfor such systems are either Side Channel Blowers, Centrifugal Blowers or TwinLobe Pumps.
B. The collection Hopper cum Filtration unit.
The collection hopper with cyclonic separation, ensure collection of coarse particles from the extracted air and prevent them from clogging the filter surface. The remaining fine dust is held back in the cartridge filter. While the filters are cleaned by pulse jet mechanism it is not necessary to stop the system during the cleaning process.
C. The Pipe work. The Main and Auxiliary piping are normally of Rigid PVCmaterial, along with various fittings like Y Junction, Junction, Elbow, Bend, Reducer, sleeves, etc. etc.
D. The Suction Inlet with collection tools. The Suction Inlets are normally of Aluminum Cast. With orwithout Micro switch. Twin Lobe Blowers

AJANTHA range of Positive displacement blower is essentially constant speed machine that delivers relatively constant volume of air over a range of discharge pressures. In this blower air cannot be stored in a receiver nor throttled at the discharge but it must be used immediately. Standard blowers are supplied in vertical configuration, where one lobe is mounted on the other providing horizontal flow of air. However for special application horizontal configuration can also be offered on request. All blowers are normally supplied with standard accessories like suction / discharge silencer, base frame, filter, relief valve, pressure gauge, pulleys belts, belt guard & inter connecting pipe line. All blowers are tested as per B.S. 1571 part II for different parameters like capacity, pressure and B.H.P. The Lobes are dynamically balanced and all blowers are subjected to vibration test to ensure trouble free service. Positive displacement blowers have two timing gear driven "figure-8" shape lobed rotors that engage each other while rotating in opposite directions within a machined housing. Incoming air is trapped between lobes and discharged against relatively high pressure the rotors are separated at their closest point by small clearance space and never contact each other. A direct coupled motor or v-belt driven shaft drives the timing gears. v-belt drive preferred to permit speed changes, if required to meet system operating conditions. Capacity : 8-1760 cfm.
