They are then transported through pipe systems to the collection hopper where they are separated, filtered and the filtered air is thrown in to the atmosphere. These systems are custom built to meet your application needs. We offer total pre and post sales service from design to commissioning of the system. The System Comprises Of : The Vacuum Producer With Electric Controls : They are either Twin Lobe Blowers, Side Channel Blowers or Centrifugal Blowers. as per details given along side. The Collection Hopper & Filtration Unit : The collection hopper with cyclonic separation, ensure collection of coarse particles from the extracted air and prevent them from clogging the filter surface. The cleaning of filters can be done either manually or by reverse pulse jet system. The Pipe Work : The Main and Auxiliary piping are normally of Rigid PVC material, along with various fittings like Y junction, Elbow, Bend, Reducer, Sleeves etc. The Suction Inlet With Collection Tools : The Suction Inlets are normally of Aluminum Cast. With or without Micro switch. AJANTHA DUSTOVAC range of Dust Collectors comprising of fixed and mobile versions are a perfect answer for extraction of dust from source. Some of the standard models offered are Mini Dust collectors, Mobile Extractors with filter and with out filter. AJANTHA DUSTOVAC Jumbo dust collector is an efficient pollution control equipment. Filtration is carried out through woven or non-woven filter media in form of bags. The cleaning action is due to high pressure air passed in the reverse direction or by-providing vibration to the bags through the vibratory motor which generates the shocks to dislodge the dust particles from the bags. Filter MediaWoven and non-woven synthetic filter media are available like polyester, polypropylene, nylon and for special cases nomex and Teflon, ordinary filter media like cotton, wool could also be used. Working PrincipleFor collecting or receiving dust from various process equipment like dryers, calciners, mixer, blender etc. it is also used in systems like dust extraction and pneumatic conveying systems. DUSTOVAC cyclone dust collectors are widely used for solid-gas separation. it is the most economical equipment for separating coarse dust particles from exhaust stream of gases or air. Dust laden air enters the collector tangentially and the dust is separated due to centrifugal force and spiral motion generated within the cyclone. thus the gases move downwards into the hopper. The gases after reaching the end of the conical portion changes its direction and moves upwards towards the outlet forming an inner vortex. Due to this upward movement of gases against gravity more dust particles are separated and fall into the conical hopper for subsequent removal. Application
AJANTHA range of Positive displacement blower is essentially constant speed machine that delivers relatively constant volume of air over a range of discharge pressures. In this blower air cannot be stored in a receiver nor throttled at the discharge but it must be used immediately. Standard blowers are supplied in vertical configuration, where one lobe is mounted on the other providing horizontal flow of air. However for special application horizontal configuration can also be offered on request. All blowers are normally supplied with standard accessories like suction / discharge silencer, base frame, filter, relief valve, pressure gauge, pulleys belts, belt guard & inter connecting pipe line. All blowers are tested as per B.S. 1571 part II for different parameters like capacity, pressure and B.H.P. The Lobes are dynamically balanced and all blowers are subjected to vibration test to ensure trouble free service. Positive displacement blowers have two timing gear driven "figure-8" shape lobed rotors that engage each other while rotating in opposite directions within a machined housing. Incoming air is trapped between lobes and discharged against relatively high pressure the rotors are separated at their closest point by small clearance space and never contact each other. A direct coupled motor or v-belt driven shaft drives the timing gears. v-belt drive preferred to permit speed changes, if required to meet system operating conditions. Capacity : 8-1760 cfm. Principle of OperationThese blowers consist of a dynamically balanced impeller which revolves in a stator cum-compression chamber having very fine clearance between them.The impeller is fitted directly on a vertical shaft and is driven by flange mounted motor.
