Ambika Gate valves are designed to provide minimum turbulence & resistance to flow when in fully open position.  Sufficiently long guide ribs in the body along with accurately machined wedge guide slots ensure accurate control & alignment of wedge while operating wedges are generally solid type & are accurately machined, precisely aligned & perfectly lapped with renewable seats in carbon steel & integral seats in stainless steel.  All the valves have back seat arrangement as an additional sealing under full working pressure which facilitates replacement of packing with valve under fully open condition.

The jacket covers the body from one end to the other end. The Jackets assure consistent valve Heating or Cooling of the process media to prevent crystallization or seizing of flow media. The Jacketed Non Return Valve (Heating Jacket Non Return Valve) with very well design to help the high temperature steam or oil flow over the seating & body parts to keep the media liquid. In addition, the efficient flow of media is ensured through the elimination of pockets. Steam, can be used as carrier for heating media. Following quality assurance rules, every valve is tested again after the Jackets have been welded (Fabricated) to the body. Jacket Hydraulic & Air Test is carried out at 6.0 Kg. /Cm2. Generally standard Jacketed None Return Valves are delivered in different types of stainless steel materials. Other special materials are available upon special request. These Jacketed Non Return Valves give class IV Shut-Off for metal fitted valve & class VI Shut-Off zero Leakage in soft sitted arrangement. EPDM / White on / Nitride as per client requirment, Tight Shut-Off and Low Torque with easy smooth operation at temperature ranging from -20 C. to +220 C. Electro-Polished, Buff Finish & Ultra clean valve also provided for Food & Pharmaceutical Industries on request.

Ambika has designed spring-assisted check valve (Sanitary NRV) for Vertical mounting to prevent flow reversal in industries. The internal surface finish is0.8 Rawhile the disc and seat are lapped to provide excellent shutoff. The specially designed end connection is easy for mounting and dismounting and so it is comfortable for maintenance and less time consuming. Additionally body and seat, is fastened with a quick release clamp and elastomeric body seal to permit fast and easy access to the internals.

Principle of operation

In line spring assisted NRV is designed to prevent reversal of flow with strict clean condition. The valve opens whenever the pressure below the plug exceeds the pressure above the plug due to spring and higher counter pressure will press the plunger valve against the seat to close the valve. Ambika Globe valves are designed for least possible obstruction to free flow by providing curvature turns in the body.  There by minimizing stresses & turbulences also.  Discs are plug type and held together with stem by disc nut & allows the perfect seating arrangement on the seat.  Carbon steel & cast Iron valves have renewable seats while stainless and other higher grade materials have integral seats.  All the valves have back seat arrangement as an additional sealing under full working pressure which facilitates replacement of packing with the valve under fully open condition.
