Flaxseed is known as Linseed. The flax plant grow 1.2m tall with slender stems. The leaves are pale green in colour, 20-40 mm long and 3 mm broad. The flowers of the plant are pale blue in colour (15-25 mm in diameter) with five petals. The fruit is dry capsule containing several glossy brown seeds.
