We have introduced this amazing and a very tasty idli batter which is very unique to a place called Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. The small background of how this batter came into existence and now trending on our website. It started way back hundreds of year ago during the Pallava regime who made these flavorful idlis to offer it their deity the Varadharaja Perumal swamy temple in kanchipuram. This is prepared by the priest in the temple kitchen traditionally on the wood fire and in cylindrical shapes wrapped in the mandarai leaves which gives its unique flavor and aroma.
