This Teflon Tape is used to seal plumbing connections and prevent water from leaking out through the threads. Wrap the teflon tape around the fitting before you screw it into place. The AQ-TP-04 thread seal tape is made to wrap around threading to create a watertight barrier. This heavy duty premium thread seal tape is great for sealing all brass threads and for water connections. It is resistant to almost all types of solvents, acids, chemicals, bases etc.
