Automatic sliding gates are the ideal solution for securing entrances of residential, commercial and industrial premises. These gates are available in 8 different versions ranging from 300 kg to 2200 kg of maximum gate leaf weight. Arka Anand Automation designs the sliding gate solutions providing complete automation kits for these, medium to heavy weight sliding gates.

Features

Besides the normal command and safety functions, the new electronics found in the 230V Bk series certain features that enable total control and optimal performance of the product. This makes the BK series an extremely safe and secure product with great performance.

  • Movement Control and complete safety the gate is halted directly by the radio transmitter, ensuring movement control is always to hand and even when it is not moving, if an obstacle is detected, the circuit cancels all commands
  • Safe and simplified accesswith the option of connecting and controlling the auxiliary lighting for the access area; this turns on the light each time the gate opens making it safe to drive
  • Partial opening for pedestrian accesswithout the need to open the gate entirely
  • Self-diagnosis of the systems active safety devicestests proper functioning of all safety devices prior to opening and closing of the gate
  • Encoder technologyensures maximumsafetyto gate users with safe, constant, electronically controlled movement
  • Environmental protection except for BK-2200T, in all models, the control electronics is built into the unit and is protected from environmental agents

  • The Practico system a specific patented device is used to replace the laborious, manual release procedures required during a power outage, and does away with the hassle of searching for the keys. Exclusive to the BK-1200P model, this feature makes the model extremely user friendly.
Benefits and Advantages

When total power, performance, and reliability are needed, the Bk three-phase technology allows the operator to reach its full potential. Extremely robust, reliable and precise in operation, the Bk is equipped with adjustable feet, to fit perfectly to the supporting surface and the transmission rack at the side of the gate, and is fixed in the ground.Motors are built to the IP54 rating and are available in the range of 300 kg to 2200 kg.

The operator incorporates electronics controlled by an encoder for safe, constant movement and safety of the users.

Increased thrust required in operation

The 230 V 400 V three-phase electronics enables additional dynamic thrust at the beginning of opening or closing the gate, addressing any potential issues related to the weight of the gate itself.

Inertia control

Just as in potential issues in the beginning phase of opening or closing gates, large weight of the gates can cause passive inertia at the end of opening/closing phases. Bk-2200T with its new ZT6 control panel addresses these effects of passive inertia, making access safer.Also when in motion or not, obstacle detection through photocell is an added advantage and is available at additional cost.

Frequent accesses

In industrial installations, where use may be frequent leading tointensive operating conditions, the three phase electronics stands in good stead.

Automatic Swing Gates

Automatic swing gates are suitable for both residential and commercial applications. These gates are available with 11 different operators based on gate dimensions, the type of operation and gate structure and design. Arka Automation, designs swing gate solutions with operators for medium to continuous operation cycles.

  • The ATI and Krono models are built in Aluminium
  • These operators vary in design and external finish to blend with the design of the gate
  • The Krono operator is built with right hand or left hand self-locking, 230 V AC gear motor
  • All models are either reversible or self-locking, providing a manual release mechanism in case of power failure.
  • Krono operators are available with or without opening and closing end stop micro switches
  • Optional battery backup system in case of power failure
  • The 24V system allows for adjustment of speed and slowing down at opening and closing

Sturdy, powerful and electromechanical The ATI and Krono models are built in aluminum to guarantee their sturdiness, compactness, and resistance to adverse atmospheric conditions

Suitable for intensive traffic applications The 24 V D.C. models are designed for continuous duty operations, slowing down at opening and closing. They can accept inputs from any access control system: radio transmitter, card reader, telephone entry, or safety device loops or photocells.

Safety features of the 24 V system include the possibility to adjust the travel speed as well as the slowdown speed in opening and closing.

Obstacle detection feature reverses the movement of the gate, in either direction, upon sensing an obstacle through the photocell.The feature is available at additional cost.
