Vertical Glandless Pumps
WORKING PRINCIPLE:Vertical Glandless Pumps have a similar hydraulic design as the centrifugal conventional pump, with the difference that it is designed in the vertical position. Liquid from the suction line passes through the impeller to the discharge line with the required flow and head/pressure, while the excess liquid enters the rear plate cover and is diverted back to the mother tank through overflow outlet arrangements. Hence, the design offers a complete solution to gland-related issues. The motor assembly is also protected against damages due to leakage of liquid. Glandless pumps ensure excellent performance while handling corrosive and hazardous chemicals.
FEATURES: No maintenance, since the pump can even run dry as there are no packing or no mechanical seal. Reduction of downtime as well as production losses. All wetted parts in solid moulded construction, in order to withstand corrosion and erosion. Semi-open type key-way impeller embedded withshaft sleeve used in our all-vertical pumps to suit both, clear and polluted fluids. These features eliminated reverse rotation issues. Pump mounted outside suction tank and not of submerged type. For easy maintenance, pump is coupled with motor, so motor can be dismantled easily.
MOC : Polypropylene (PP), PVDF, UHMW-PE, and other corrosion-resistant materials.
APPLICATIONS: Glandless pumps are extensively used in Pollution Control equipment as well as plants for Filtration, Waste Water Treatment, transferring Corrosive Chemicals, Slurries, Plating Bars, Sewage, Wet Gas Scrubbers, etc.
