Plasti Dip is an air dried, flexible, liquid matt coating for use on virtually anything.

Plasti Dip is a tough coating, and resists akalines, acids, salts, moisture and most chemicals, to ensure positive protection for concrete or metal surfaces. Because Plasti Dip is flexible, it performs when extreme expansion or contracting conditions would cause most other paints or coatings, to chip, crack, peel or breakdown.

To maintain a Plasti Dip coating, even after years of exposure, simply wash down to remove grime etc., and recoat. A new application of the coating will fuse to the original coating and extend protected life.

Electric Rotary Actuators

EL actuators use worm and worm-wheel reduction gearing to provide tight positioning control and the self locking feature necessary for controlling larger valves, particularly butterfly types.

The housing is of aluminium castings, it contains the drive motor and worm gear assembly, together with the anti-condensation heater and main terminal strip.

EL actuator take the full range of control options, it has mechanical end position stops and torque switches. Visual position indication is by a window in the top cover.

A geared manual override is fitted as standard, it is engaged by means of a declutching lever. When the motor is energised the unit automatically returns to motor operation, thus ensuring operator safety.

These actuators are available for ON / OFF and modulating applications.

BX Coal Burner Isolation

The BX model knife gate is a bi-directional wafer valve specifically designed for the isolation of pulverized coal burner lines on coal fired boilers during maintenance. The valve is dust tight which makes it suitable for other bulk handling applications, such as silo outlet valves. This valve has been designed for use in potentially explosive areas (ATEX) and it complies with DIN EN 14460 (Explosion resistant equipment). In the closed position, the valve can be used as an effective measure against flame propagation in the event of an explosion.

EL-O-Matic Pneumatic actuators are powerful and compact double rack and pinion units for use with ball, butterfly and plug valves and any device requiring accurate and dependable quarter turn rotary motion.

The use of high grade steel and aluminum components together with EL-O-Matic's patended 3 point piston support provides a tough reliable unit for the automation of today's high performance industrial valves. Modern synthetic bearings ensure no metallic contact between moving components.

Spring return actuators incorporate the multiple spring concept for maximum flexibility, they are also "field reverseable". Safety features include an anti-blow out spindle and a spring retaining system which ensures no spring tension on disassembly.

A wide range of control options are available to cover each and every industrial application.
The choice of actuator depends primarily on the valves torque requirement, and with El-O-Matic you have the widest range possible, 18 basic model sizes covering a torque range from 12 to 4000 Nm.

'E' Seriesactuators incorporate a body of cast aluminum and have pistons where the rack teeth are precision machined onto the aluminum casting. Spring return versions have a maximum of 6 springs, 3 in each end cap assembled as a concentric stack.

'P' Seriesactuators cover the large end of the torque range. These all incorporate a body of cast aluminium and have steel for the rack on pinion drive. Spring return versions have a maximum of 14 springs 7 in each end cap assembled within a hexagon pattern.

All actuators have mounting flanges and drives to ISO 5211. Mounting kits can be provided for most of the worlds quarter turn valves.
EL-O-Matic actuators comply fully with all the relevant industry standards. Control interfaces for solonoid valves, switch boxes and positioners satisfy the NAMUR standard (VDI/VDE 3845).

Limit Switch Box

El-O-Matic supplies switches for indicating the valve / actuator position. The switches are operated by two cams on an extension of the actuator drive shaft. All mechanical parts and the switches are contained within the enclosure. Both switches are independently adjustable throughout the operating stroke, but are normally set to indicate the open or close position. The terminals of the switches are pre-wired to a terminal block which is easily accessible when the top cover is removed. The switch box is mounted on top of the actuator with an accessory bracket.
