ABB general purpose drive ACS310 is dedicated to variable torque applications such as booster pumps and centrifugal fans. The drive design includes a powerful set of features which benefit pump and fan applications including built in PID controllers and PFC (pump and fan control) that varies the drive's performance in response to changes in pressure, flow or other external data. The drives also have pre-programmed protection functions such as pipe cleaning for preventive maintenance.

Siemens is offering a simple and cost-effective drive solution with its compact SINAMICS V20 Basic Performance converter. SINAMICS V20 sets itself apart as a result of its quick commissioning times, ease of operation, robustness and cost-efficiency. With seven frame sizes, it covers a power range extending from 0.12 kW up to 30 kW.
SINAMICS V20 - an overview of its strengths Easy to install
The servo drive system comprises the basic SINAMICS V90 servo converter and SIMOTICS S-1FL6 servomotor. The system features eight converter frame sizes and seven motor shaft heights to cover a performance range from 0.05 kW to 7.0 kW for operation in single-phase and three-phase networks. Can be simply integrated via PTI, PROFINET, USS, Modbus RTU. The SINAMICS V90 servo drive system enables a wide range of simple Motion Control tasks to be implemented cost-efficiently and conveniently with the focus being on dynamic motion and processing.

With the second generation SINAMICS G120, Siemens presents a modular converter with higher power density and a space-saving frame size.
The redesigned converter series is now available in three voltage variants for connection to 200 V, 400 V and 690 V power supply networks.
